Matrox -- ALT2048 VIDEO BOARD
This was an early Matrox S-100
character based video board.

The ALT-2480 provided an alphanumeric video interface between an S100 bus
microcomputer and a TV monitor.
It outputed the industry standard 24 line by 80 character format which was
invaluable for professional applications such as intelligent CRT terminals
and word processors. The
ALT-2480 was compatible with the ALT-256 permitting a powerful combined
alphanumeric/graphic display. The board RAM was made up of Intel
2102A-4 RAM chips.
I cannot locate a manual for this board. If you have one you would like to
share please let me know.
